Bar Brancaia is a bar in the Chianti Classico hills, realised for a winemaker—an intimate place designed to frame the surrounding landscape. Inserted into a robust existing structure with sculpturally shaped columns, three plastered arches articulate the space and choreograph views towards the terrace and across the valley. A warm, pigmented clay-plaster finish and dark-stained timber built-ins add earthy depth, while the bar front—finished in blue-green glazed ceramic—sets a defining material statement. The result is a reduced, craft-driven bar that translates sustainability into durable materials and a timeless, precisely executed build.
