A fine selection of natural materials is a recurrent theme throughout the entire house, which was intended to be a place of arrival and comfort for the residents. In its overall effect, the interior of Wachenzell dolomite and steamed oak wood is strictly graphic and architectural. This is also evident in the kitchen, which played an important role in the design. Inside, a long kitchen block with a countertop in hot-rolled stainless steel dominates the space. A large outdoor kitchen in concrete and charred oak was designed for the garden. Despite the materials used throughout, each room is given its own look and feel according to its function and special requirements. For example, the play of light through rotating slats in the fitness and spa area or the reflections of the textile-covered wardrobes in the dressing room creates exciting and sometimes surprising moments.
